Show Hyde Park Quiet. Eases lip on Fourth and Populace Gets Out of Town. Hydk Pauk July fith -The fourth passed iiulctly away In Hyde Park with but little going on. Quite a number of our citizens went down to the river fishing. Wo haven't heard any great tlsli stories since so It must be that the other fellow had the luck. We had several Interesting horse races hi the morning. In the afternoon after-noon the children enjoyed themselves for several hours dancing, and at evening even-ing the adults did likewise. The Fourth was not without Its usual accidents here. John Matkln, W. E. Hanccy, Jr. and their sweethearts sweet-hearts went up Logan canyon. One of the horses stepped upon a rock and in some unaccountable way broke Its leg. Tho animal Is a valuable one, and they have hopes of saving Its life. The Sunday school otllccrs and teachers are preparing for a grand time on July -tth. Wo extend a hearty invitation to all the readers of The Republican to come to Hyde Park and have a .lay's enjoyment at our expense. ex-pense. Mrs. Emma Hrown, of Salt Ivike, daughter of Absolom and Lucy Woolf, Is visiting with parents and friends in Hyde Park. Walter Klrby, of Plymouth, was over on a visit to his old home Sunday Sun-day last. Claiencc, the eleven year old son of J. W. I). Ilurrcn, fell out of a cherry tiee 1.1st week and severely spialncd his arm. |
