Show Mendon Happenings. Mkndo.v, Sept. 25. A grand ball was given In Richard's hall Saturday night but there was not as large a crowd present as usual, on account of It's not being advertised sooner. All who were there had a very enjoyable time. Mr. and Mrs. Morris llosenbaum arc going to move up town. They have lived at the depot since they wero married. The residence they aro going go-ing to occupy belongs to David Mulr. Tho following students have moved to Logan to attend the IJ. Y. College this winter: Misses MacGardncr.Eula-lla MacGardncr.Eula-lla Sorcnson, Cora Hardman, Edna Hiker and Arlmlnta Wllle. Alma Sorcnson, Enter Richards, and Henry Sorcnson started on Monday. There will also be some Winter course students stu-dents start later. It was feared that Mr. John Lallls would have to have his leg amputated, but Dr. Budge hid him taken to tho hospital, where he underwent an operation, oper-ation, and a largo portion of rotten bone was removed. Ills many friends are pleased to hear of him Improving. Mrs. Joseph Hakcr has returned from Hlngham, where she has been waiting on her son In law, Mr. Ferris Jones, who has been very ill with typhoid ty-phoid fever. She says ho Is able to be around a little now. Mrs. Jeremiah Baker is getting better again after a sick spell, which lasted two days.
