Address P. O. Box 70 City. Persons frequently notify this office that they did not receive their paper of acertaln datc, and desire to know tho reason why. Wo arc not in a position to state with any degree of certalnlty, and merely suggest that we arc as anxious for everyone to get his paper, as he Is to have It. It may be possible possi-ble that an occasional mistake is made In this olllcc, but we suggest' that mistakes mis-takes may also be made elsewhere occasionally. It Is cry easy to place a paper In the wrong box at the post olllcc, and then again children frequently fre-quently call for mail, and children as rule are not as careful as they might be. We desire the paper to reach every subsrlbcr regularly and arc doing do-ing everything In our power that they may have It so. Prof. Pcderson Is nothing If not original. He has four or five enormous enorm-ous anthills in his back yard, and after af-ter vain attempts to drown the animals ani-mals out, hit upon a plan that Is proving highly successful. The Professor Pro-fessor In some wholly unaccountable way discovered that ants cannot scale glass, and this put an Idea into his head. Why not place a bottle In eac h hill, sinking the same so that the mouth would come even with the ground, thus playing an April fool on the little booggersV" Beer bottles were secured (It doesn't make any difference dif-ference where from for they were emptyat em-ptyat least when they were ready for use) and sunk as per scheme. And now every day the professor visits his ant hills' and takes from each a pint of reel ants which in returning home have found their way down the mouth of the bottle. He has already cor-ralcd cor-ralcd nineteen gallon in this way, and now insists that all the ants from the yards of Judge Hart, Prof. Englc and Hugh Adams are coming over just to get into his bottles. On Sunday Sun-day morning he discovered three or four that had the appearance of foreign extraction, and after a careful care-ful diagnosis, which revealed an enormous quantity of green paint Just between the light car and left hind log of the ant, the Professor Profes-sor came to the conclusion that the animal had at one time been on Champ's roof. Just what may be discovered dis-covered in the next two weeks Is, of course, uncertain, but Prof. Pederscn Insists that If any of the little pests come up from the" Sugar factory, he is going to leave town. Profs. J. P. Englo and E. W. Robin-son Robin-son went to Salt Lake last week and took the examination for admission to tho bar of the State of Utah. Both were successful and returned to Salt Lake Sunday to go through tho attendant at-tendant ceremony Monday morning. Prof. Engle is a graduate of the Chicago Chi-cago Correspondence School of Law, having taken his degree some time during the winter. Piof. Robinson has been a law student for many years and his final admission to practice in the state Is the glorious end of hard work. These cases serve to show what can bo accomplished by men of determination deter-mination and strength of will. Prof. Engle hits been known to the writer for ten years, and we know that his time has been fully occupied. Having held numerous high positions in the educational Held, he has had little time for anything besides his school woik, yet the time that lias been at his disposal has been well spent In the study of law. Pi of. Robinson lias been engaged In school work for years and, despite tills and other business affairs, has also found time to doote himself to law. In either case the desired de-sired end could not have been accomplished ac-complished except by a thorough appreciation of eveiy moment and tho determination to win out against every obstacle. This takes courage, energy, stluk-to-lt-lveness, yet there Is not a young man In the country who could not accomplish as much In the same way. Young men who aio snuggling against what they feel are the adversities of fate, should tako courage and become masti-is of their fate.
