Show B. Y. College. Things are a little more quiet. alt he good old college now. Although summer sum-mer school now Is in session there ate not quite so many'studi'iits In attendance, attend-ance, and the high competitive class spirits has left us. However this same spirit Is being freely breathed hi the llelds and shops. Tower Is being generated and stored away ready for a , bursting forth early next year. The class of 11)05, who were successful I in heading the list on the Mophy roll, , are now laying plans to hold the cup during the next two years. Mr. Schneider is a "hummer" and he's a j 11)05. j The summer school course of lectures has begun, and the three lectures that have already been given were all that could be asked. The llrst was delivered deliver-ed by Pror. Hall of the llrigham Young College on "Ideas vs. Ideals." Brother Hall favors the Ideal, and his lecture was of that sort. Prof. Win. M. Stewart of the University Uni-versity of Utah delivered two lectures on Friday. They were excellent both instructing and entertaining. The teachers begin to sec clearly now what awaits them. Improvements are already being made preparatory to next year's work, among which is the remodeling of the carpenter shops so as to oiler increased facilities in tills depaitment. |
