Show German Conferance. The German conference convened in the Tabernacle Sunday July 5th at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and enjoyed a most profitable time. The Logan and Providence choirs furnished the singing, under the leadership of Daniel Wcttstcin with K. C. Schaub as organist. On the stand were Itulcn S. Wells, Louis A. Kelsch, Henry itclscr, ' Herman Her-man Grethcr, from Salt Lake City, Pies. Isaac Smith. Bishop Thcurlr, Providence, Ralph T. Merrill, Smith-Held, Smith-Held, Louis S. Cardon and the presidents presi-dents of the German Soclctles,NIclaus Summer Logan, Gottfried Fuhrlman, Providence and John NulTer Preston. Pies. N. Summer called the conference confer-ence to order and the speakers, E. E. Breltcnhuchcr, Bishop Fred Theurcr, Henry Reiser, Herman Grethcr, Ralph T. Merrill, Rulcn S. Wells, Louis S. Cardon and Louis A. Kelsch gave very good Instruction and council. coun-cil. Especially so were the remarks of Elders Rulcn S. Wells and Louis A. Kelsch. There was an attendance of about 500 which made a fair showing of this valley's German population considering consider-ing the short time to work up this conference. The Germans feel grateful to the visiting brethren and to the almighty for His outpour of the Holy Spirit and hope for more such times. |
