As the result of tho story a complaint was issued charging Conrad E. Wllko an actor with tho company which played the Garrlck theater last weok In "Tho Butler's Secret," with a statutory crime Wllklo was arrested ar-rested lato yesterday afternoon at American Fork and will bo brought to this city today. Miss Kirk alleges that during Aug ust Wllko came to her with a marriage mar-riage license which had been Issued In Farmlngton and tho couplo went to tho Palaco hotel In this city whero tho supposed marrlngo ceremony took plnco. Sho says sho did not go to Farmlngton with Wllklo when tho llccnso was procured. Under tho laws of Utah both contracting parties aro required to sign the application for license. Up to a late hour last night, no Information had been received from tho Davis county clerk jib to whether wheth-er or not any license had over been Issued to Wllko. It Is presumed by tho local officials that If a license waa Issued some other woman accompanied accompan-ied Wllko to Farmlngton and signed Miss "Kirk's name. Another, supposition suppo-sition Is that the supposed llccnso shown to Miss Kirk was not a llccnso at all. Miss Klr,k was unablo to gtvo tho name of the man who performed per-formed the ceremony, and tho county coun-ty attorney's offlco was unablo yesterday yes-terday to find any Salt Lako mints-tor mints-tor or Justice who had performed any ceremony at tho Palaco hotel. ..
