Show POPULAR YOUNG COUPLE WED Today at Salt Lako City, in the Salt Lako temple, will bo performed the marriage ceremony uniting Miss Barbara Howell and Mr. Preston D. Richards. The ceremony will bo performed per-formed by President Joseph F. Smith. Congressman and Mrs. Howell left yesterday for the capltol to be pres-sent pres-sent at tho ceremony. M'ss Howell Is the charming and accomplished daughter of Congressman Congress-man and Mrs. Howell, nnd Is well and favorably known In BOdal circles not only In Cache county and Salt Lake City, but at Washington, D. C. where she hns spent several winters with her parents. Mr. Bichards Is tho son of Wll-lard Wll-lard Bichards of Salt Lake City, and grandson of tho late Apostlo Richards of Carthage Jail fame. Mr. Bichards Is a lawyer by profession, and Is now employed as Solicitor In tho 'Department 'Depart-ment of State at Washington, D. C. He has spent three years on a mission mis-sion to Germnny, ono term In our State legislature, and Is a graduate of the Law School of tho University of Chicago. Tho young couple will leave on tho noon train for Washington, D. C. |
