Show Mr. Badenoch WedsMissBean Simple Home Wedding, Wedd-ing, Logan Guests A home wedding, charming In its simplicity and freedom from stiff conventions, con-ventions, was that of Mr. Badenoch and Miss Bean at Salt Lake City last Tuesday evening. About twenty-five relatives and near friends were present at the ceremony, whicli took place at the residence of Miss Bean's aunt, Mrs. Peaslee, on Third avenue. The house was beautifully decorated, with ferns and white sweet peas which made fragrant masses everywhere. After the singing of "O Promise Me" by a glorious baritone, the. bride and groom appeared, attended by Dr. F. K Clark of Logan and Miss Edith Mudgett of Salt Lake. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Jones of Logan, who enhanced the beauty and solemnity ot the occasion by his spotless pontificals and his earnest reading of the Episcopal marriage service. After the wedding dinner Mr. and Mrs. Badenoch left in the midst of senseless showers of rice. They spend a few days in Ogden canyon and then wll come to Logan where a cottage Is now building for them and where Mr. Badenoch has charge of the work in athletics at the K. Y. C. Mrs. Badenoch Bade-noch is a charming Chicago girl, who will be a pleasant addition to Logan society and will make many friends among the faculty wives and the young people or Logan. Many or Mr. Badcnoch's students have already known her as Miss Bean and will be glad to welcome her 'permanently to the faculty ranks. |
