On June 24 Greenville lost one of Its most popular pop-ular belles In the person or Miss Allle Crookston, who was married In the Logan temple to Henry Rust of Logan Fifth ward. The young couple will be at home to their many friends at their cosy home on Seventh East, Ninth North. A quiet wedding reception re-ception was given at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rust, on Wednesday evening. About fifty immediate relatives were there and presented beautiful presents and wished the young couple a prosperous, happy life. We arc having tine weather at present pres-ent and everything appears as If we were to have spring at last. Most of the beets are thinned and some of the farmers arc cutting their first crop of hay. On Thursday, June 18. about twenty girl friends of Miss Allle Crookston gave her a china shower at the homo of Mrs. Etta Nyman. The dainty refreshments re-freshments as well as tho entertainment entertain-ment provided were thoroughly enjoyed en-joyed by all present. Mrs. C. A. Hubbard met with a painful accident last Sunday evening when a horse ran away with her,throw-lng her,throw-lng the buggy and Its human contents against the barn. Mrs. Hubbard was cut about-her forehead antVnose and received other slight Injuries. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Izatr. are rejoicing over a little baby girl that came to their home on June 10. Miss Lanle Fogg of Rcx'burg, Ida., has been spending a few days with her aunt, Mrs. Hannah Maughan. Miss Nellie Davidson, who has been teaching school at St. Charles, Ida., this winter, Is home again. Mrs. Louisa Cole and sod George of Paris, Ida , and Mr. Wm. Orerdneau and Mn. Sadie B. Card ol Baker City, Ore.; have been to see their aged mother, Mrs. Blerdneau, who Is very feeble with rheumatism, II. J. Chrlstensen of Salt Lake City Is visiting with his sister, Mrs. Ollf Cronqulst. Mrs. Ellen Ferguson, Mrs. John Ferguson and Miss Myrtle Baugh' have gone to Idaho Falls for the summer. sum-mer. Mrs. Conrad L. Anllder of Hyrum has been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Alex. Izatt, the past week. Mrs. Frank Crowton or Salt Lake City has been spending the week with her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Palmer. |
