Show Funeral Service at Mention Ireta Richards Laid to Rest Other Matters of Interest From West Side. MEN' DON, Dec 2i. lHOil. Funeral services over tho remains of M Iss I reta Richards were held In the meeting house at noon Thursday, Services were opened by tho choir singing "Shall we Meet Ilcyond tho KlvcrY" Prayer wasoHered by Christian Soren-son Soren-son which was followed by "I know that my Kcdeemer Llveth." Tho speakers were Alfred (iardncr, Andrew Sorenscn, Andrew Anderson, Jacob Sorensen, .lens Jensen, Joseph Sorenscn, Soren-scn, John Wllley, William Sorenscn and lllshop lllrd. The choir sang 'There Is a Heautlful Land over there' and benediction was olfercd by Peter Lirsou. The lloral offerings were most beautiful. The death of this young lady cast a gloom over the entire en-tire town, for she was lovely in disposition, dispo-sition, and the taking away of one who seemed to have so much before her ever brings a shock to more than the Immediate friends and relations. The family has the tender .sympathy of all. The Josephine DelTry Co. played three, nights to full houses and If they had played three more nights, the house would have been crowded. We hae never before had such a treat In the theatrical line. Charles Lalllsand wife, and Martha Lallls, of Ogden, are visiting with their parents during the holidays. Joseph Hancock and wife, of Center-vllle, Center-vllle, returned home after spending a few days with the lady's parents. William Longstroch Jr., A. Sorensen, Soren-sen, Vernon Hlrd and Simon Sorensen went to Salt Lake to work. Ulchard Pllkington and wife, of Smlthlleld, spent Thursday in town with relatives. Peter Herntsen, of the Malad Enterprise, Enter-prise, gave this burg a Hying visit last Friday. Joseph Wood and wife went to Salt Lake to spend the holidays. Clara Sorenson went to Salt Lake on a visit. Tho many frlcnns of John Lamont will be pained to hear that he still lies In a critical condition. |
