Sister Coi bridge was born H In Ch.igch'V, Lancashire, England.July H 7, isn. Thus, you see thatshohad' H past her "Dtli j ear when she died. She H began falling a few j cars back and was H bed ridden for about , four years, but H did not seem to sulfer niuch until H about two years ago, She had the H greatest kind of care during her old H age, her children kindly looking after tH her wauls. They had Sister Peuulna H Peck, wife of Arthur Peck, attending H to Iter foi four years and great credit is due lo her children for the kind H caic they took of her and especially, great credit H duo tier youngest child, H Joseph Corbrldge, for the diligent care he manifested for her. indeed, It seems that he sacrltlced his youthful days In her behalf and the blessings of God will attend him while he llvps H upon the earth. The rest of her H I children arc all married and have 'large famlles, hut tiot-with-standing v H this they did all they could for their H I aged mother, and they will bo blest. Sister Corbrldge was baptled Into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter- H day Saints June 1M, 18:w, She married H William Corbrldge in England Both H cmlgiutcd to Ameilca In theyear 18--, H lauded Into Salt Lake cjty tho 20th of H August, IS.".'.', stayed In Salt Lake city until the fall or lrv.'l, moved to BotifUl- H fill until the fall of lS.'ii, and then H after the big move south, they came H to Slatervllle, and in l.SfiO moved to Franklin, Cache Valley, where she H lived until she died. Sister Corbrldge H was the mother of twelve children, H grandmother of forty-two, great grand- H mother of fifty-three, and great-great H grandmother of thic.c. Now she Is H gone to meet her loved ones who have H gone before. She was a good woman, H full of faith In the principles of the H Church of Christ. H Funeral services weic held on Tues- H day, the Kith, at 'the Franklfh meet- H ing house at 1 o'clock. Meeting opened H by the choir singing, "When tlrst the tH gloilous light of truth." Prayer was H ottered by Klder Edmund Buckley; H sfuglng again, no anthem by the choir. H The speakers were Patriarch U B. Nash, ICIder Joshua Hanks, Elder H Charles Goasllnd, Patriarch S. R. H Parkinson and Klder Thomas Durant. All spoke well of Sister Corbrldge and H spoke of her Integrity In the church. H Tne choir sang and benediction was H oifeicd by Elder Samuel C. Parkinson. H I A good many followed her remains to On Friday, the oth, Brother Peter Hovvcut, our butcher, was down at tho slaughter yard killing a beef, and H while In the wagon loading it to bring It to the shop, ho fell backwards and was hurt pretty badly. He had two of his ribs broken. He Is getting along Everything is quiet after the excite- H ment cf the election and all arc doing what they can to make an honest llv- Ing. All the trouble we have here now Is that we can't get coal. There Is no wood, and as cold weather is coming we hope that the coal famine 1 will soon bo, broken up.
