M. lsraelson, the latter gentleman appeared befoie Justice Pedersen's com I at 4. p. in. on Thursday and tho former at 10 a in. yesteiday Both gentleman pleaded plead-ed not guilty to the charge of willfully and feloniously tampering with tho ballots. The hearing of the case has been deferred for a few daysowlug to other cases being Tiandled by the county attorney. The defendants were not placed under bonds, as a matter of course. ("rllllth Charles, one of the very early settlers of Logan, died ou'Wedncsday at 2 o'clock. He was well advanced In years, had been eon lined to his home for two or three years, and his death was due ta4,'cncral debility. He was ever credited us being a good man.
