Hendricks, 1 were at Salt Lake city a year ago and lent every assistance to the college cause; Despite the fact that one of the republican re-publican nominees, II. A. I'edcrsen, was directly responsible for one of the two favorable votes needed to save the day; Despite the fact that one of the republican re-publican .nominees, Mr. llullen, was one of the two who made up the minority mi-nority report, which Is favorablo to he college; Despite the fact that he Joined in a public letter denouncing personal ., friends unfriendly to collcgu interests; IjJf Despite the fact that Senator IJarber K himself admitted his own helplessness as a democrat, and has acknowledged that to republicans and to republicans only Is due the great credit fof preserving pre-serving the college Interests; Despite the fact that a nominee on the democratic ticket, Mr. Nebckcr, acknowledged his Inability to Influence the dissenting democrats in the lower house; Despite the fact that Hon. Not only does the democratic organ carry this charge at'lts head, but the democratic organization has sent broadcast through this county letters In which the same charge is made. This is the most dishonorable thing that Cache democracy has ever done. They can not but know that they are willfully prevarlcatlug when they make the statement that the republican republi-can ticket is unfriendly to the college. Hut we believe the Intelligence of Cache voters may be trusted In this matter. Let them look over the indisputable in-disputable facts set forth above and they will never vote for Georgo Harbor, Har-bor, the democrat' who In the lucent legislature brought no republican to his aid, who brought no democrat to his side, and who In cither a republican republi-can or democratic legislature will again be unable to accomplish anything any-thing for us. Kemember also that Rarbur may be a hold-over for the legislature of 1!)0'J and as a democrat will vote for a democratic dem-ocratic United States Senator. Vote the Republican ticket straight. |
