Mrs. Mary Simpson Stoddard, wife of Alexander Alex-ander Stoddard, who used to live In our city jcars ago but Tor many years lias lived at Beaver canyon, Idaho, and who has been a very great sufferer for years, died at Idaho Falls on the 0th. Her remains wero brought hero and burled In the Wellsville cemetery. Tho funeral service was held in tlio Wcllsvlllo meeting house on the Oth, Bishop E. II. Owen presiding. The speqkers were John Glonn, W. W. Hall of Logan, Alexander Spence, Patriarch Robert Baxter, George P. Phillips and Bishop Owen, all of whom spoke words of comfort and consolation to the bereaved be-reaved husband and relatives, and of the pod character of tho departed. Mary Simpson Stoddard was born at KlrKcaldy, Pifeshlre, Scotland, thirty-seven thirty-seven years ago, Shu was a loving mother, a truo wlfo and a devoted Latter Day Saint, and died In thu hope of a glorious resurrection with the Just.
