Show Some twelve ycais ago, Thomas i Jcssop ana his boys located on land In Pocatello alley. Much hard labor and money was spent In Improving the land which It appears was,as:rp forty rods wide the title to which Is disputed. These Improvements consist con-sist of a line well, residence, sheds, corrals, etc , oud a line crop of alfalfa Is growing on this particular strip of land. Thomas Jcssop died some years ago and his boys l.ave worked hard to sustain the family. Quito recently tho Jesse W. Smith Stock and Land Company purchased some ten thous-sand thous-sand acres of land from the state and In this purchase claim the disputed strip of forty acres, with Improve-ments, Improve-ments, crop and everything upon It. and have forbidden the Jcssop boys to move anything from the land. Surveyors Sur-veyors will be sent out at once to locate lo-cate the lines. Even though everything every-thing Is found to bo In favor of the stock company the gentlemen cannot afford to take advantage of the widows and orphans and from our knowledge of tho high sense of honor entertained by some of the stockholders, we do not believe tjhey will do anything unfair un-fair In this matter. |
