Show I Sunday Services. A small congregation attended the services at tho Logan tabernacle Sunday Sun-day afternoon. The speakers were Elders Andrew Eliason, Lars Pehrson, Norman Stoddard and James A. Lelsh-man. Lelsh-man. The first three speakers gave reports of their labors In tho missionary mission-ary field, the first two having been to Sweden and the latter to Germany, All expressed much satisfaction in returning re-turning to their homes and friends, but where delighted with their work In tho mission field. Elder James A. Lclshman, who occupied oc-cupied forty minutes, treated upon the growth of the. Latter-day wdrk since Its inception, and then compared the moral status of the saints with that of many places In the world. lie spoke of the divine authenticity of the Book of Mormon, claiming that recent discoveries made by scientists in Central and South America corro-boruted corro-boruted statements set forth In that book as to largo and populous cities being burled tn the earth. The speak er asserted that no work could have withstood tho opposition that had prevailed against the Latter-day work had ndt the power of God been present pres-ent to have shielded It. Ho admonished admon-ished the saints to live lives of faithfulness faith-fulness that their acts may be consistent con-sistent with thelrprofessions.
