School Population. The total .school population of the state for the year 1005 Is 02,500 children, child-ren, of whom 10,107 are boys, and -Hi,-15.1 are girls, says The News. This Is a total Increase in both sexes of 878 over the year 1004. The reports received re-ceived from tho various counties and cities by State Supt. of School Nelson show that there are 251 more boys than girls between the ages of 0 and 18 jcars The figures are very close In some instances between the bojs and girls. The report from Provo shows the closest race, there being just ono more boy than glils In that city. Dairy Cows. The last government census gave the total number of milch cows In Utah as 00,000. There has been a steady Incrcaso in the number of milch cows In Utah Their value at $25 per head would amount to $2;450,-000. $2;450,-000.
