OCR Text	Show Brooklyn Young Woman Inoculated With Bovine Tuberculosis to Test Koch Theory. A young woman has just been inoculated inocu-lated with virus from a cow, suffering from tuberculosis, by Dr. George D. Barney of Brooklyn. The solution of bovine tubercle lmcilli was injected on each side of the woman's neck, just 'above the clavicle, the quantity of the injection being about one and one-half drams. The woman was Miss Emma H. King of Brooklyn. She offered to submit sub-mit to this experiment, it was said, in order that the medical profession might know whether or not Professor Koch's theory that bovine tubercle bacilli cannot infect human beings was correct. The cow from which the virus was taken was inoculated with virus of a consumptive person some time ago by Dr. Barney.
