Show Human Bodies Shipped as Laundry Machines. Ma-chines. Eight human bodies were taken from two crates at the freight station of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy railroad at Chicago Wednesday. They were consigned to R. J. Jones of Brashear, Mo., and marked as second-hand laundry laun-dry machinery. The bodies were purchased pur-chased during the day from the Harvey Medical college of Chicago and were being shipped to Missouri for purpose of dissection. The police are looking for Jones, but so far have been unable to locate him. The only charge that can be brought against him is the shipping of bodies in a manner contrary con-trary to law. |
