Show THE DARKEST HOUR "The Darkest Hour," by Lincoln Lin-coln J. Carter, author and producer pro-ducer of such vvel1 kuown successes suc-cesses as "The Past Mail," "Heart of Chicago," "The 11th Hour, " "Two Little Waifs," and 'Alaska" will be the attraction at Thaicber opera house Saturday Satur-day evening, Mar. 14. In this, his latest effort, Mr. Carter has woven a powerful love story, and one in which the dramatic interest grows steadily stage setting is a beautiful one, and the author's art is constantly constant-ly displayed in bis manner of emploving romantic surroundings surround-ings for a series of happenings that are both strange and absorbing. ab-sorbing. "The Darkest Hour" is a very human play, and absolutely abso-lutely distinctive in its plot, while it is written with that charm of style which has already won for its author an enviable position in the dramatic world. Among the well known players may be mentioned the eminent German comedian, : Cbas. A. (Karl) Gardner, and many others of equal repute. |
