Show Impressive Funeral. The funeral service over the remains of the late Charles E Thorstenson was held in Logan tabernacle last Sunday at noon. Elder Ephraim Mikkelson offered offer-ed the opening prayer, and the speakers were Elder T. A. Thoreson, Elder M. Christopher-son Christopher-son of Salt Lake, Eider John A-Hendrickson, A-Hendrickson, President Isaac Smith, Bishop C. J. Larsen, Elder S. G. Spencer of Salt Lake and President Joseph Morrell, i respectively. All spoke of the .excellent character oil the' deceased, de-ceased, his kindness to his friend?, neighbors and family, his energy" in Sunday school work, his sterling honesty, and bis devotion to his relisious con- viclions. Elder Hendrickson dwelt at considerable length the manner of his death, in order to set at rest unfounded reports. The closing prayer was offered by Elder Oscar IBorkraan. During the service Mrs. Olive Borkman rendered impressively a beautiful sacred selection. Previous to the funeral, the Seventh ward Sunday school led by the officers, marched in a body to view the remains. The deceased was superintendent of this school twelve years. A long cortege followed the remains to the cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by Elder El-der Hendrickson. A number of the close friends of the deceased formed a choir and sang beautiful beauti-ful selections beside the grave. The benediction was pronounced bv Eider C. F. Olson of Hyrum.
