The Thatcher Stock company is receiving many fine press notices not-ices throughout the state, the following from the Provo Enquirer En-quirer being an instance in point : The Thatcher company certainly cer-tainly deserved better patronage at the opera house last night. The society drama of ,:Moths': was surprisingly well presented. Miss Heien Boyer as the artificial, artific-ial, hea rtless mother, Lady Dally, was excellent, her acting throughout through-out being most artistic. Mr. Culler Cul-ler looked and acted the part of Prince Zouraff to perfection; Mr. Walter Percival made a good ; lover, and Siiss Ida Due enacted1 the character ?f Vere with much feeling and naturalness The cast was a good one all through, i Before the Footlights John Griffith and company will appear here next Friday evening in a grand production of Shakespeare's "Macbeth." Mrs. Ida Apperley, or Ida Adair, as the lady is known on the stage, has consented to appear ap-pear with the Thatcher Stock company in one pi'oduction here in order that her many friends may have an opportunity to see her in drama. The lady goes east shortly to join one of Charles Frohman's companies, in New Yrork, with which she will appear ap-pear during the coming season. Miss Adair has a wonderfully expressive voice, a beautiful face and handsome stage presence and these qualifications combined combin-ed with rare native talent give' |
