Show 1 INFIFTH Logan WardHas Annual Fete. Thursday and yesterday were red letter days in the history of the Logan Fifth ward. On those days the annual ward reunion was held. Thursday the old folks were honored and yesterday yester-day the young people of the ward enjoyed themselves to their heart's content. A sumptuou.; banquet was tendered ten-dered the old folks of the ward Thursday afternoon, the spread being partaken of by over 200 older members of the ward. At six o'clock the following program pro-gram was rendered: Recitation Miss Nellie Hurst. Song Charles Bait and Karl Schaub,' Song Mrs. C. F. Brown. Stump speech Christian Lar-sea. Lar-sea. Song Miss Rose Sorenson. Recitation J. C. Schaub. Organ solo Karl Schaub. ; Address John T. Cuine, Jr. Fiiday the children were treated to candy and a dance. The committee in charge of the affair comprised Messrs. Charles Batt, Yv'm. Ellis and Jos-Mai Jos-Mai r, and they called other committees com-mittees to their aid. Ail worked work-ed manfully to make the affair great success. |
