Says ths New York correspondent corre-spondent of the News: Miss Gvenn Hubbard, who will graduate grad-uate next month from Columoia college, joined the teacher's Saturday Sat-urday afternoon, in an excursion to "Sleepy Hollow, " that delightful de-lightful place, made famous by the writings of Washington Irving. Ir-ving. Miss Hubbard's guests were President Arthur Welling and Elder Lawrence Taylor Every historical spot was reverently rever-ently visited by these genuine lovers of Irving, and the ride through the country, after leaving leav-ing the train, was one picture of grandeur and beauty. It was a red letter day for our three Utah friends, and will leave a broad mark on their New York book of recollections, not easily effaced. The marriage cf Miss May Curtis Cur-tis and Professor William Welsh ! was solemnized in the Salt Lake temple last Wednesday, and was followed by a reception at the home of Mr. an.d Airs. James H. Anderson, cousins of the bride. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs Edwin Curtis, formerly of Thatcher, Ariz., but now of Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Welsh will make their home at Thatcher. Thatch-er.
