Show Notes of the Green Diamond The Center street ball players have accepted the challenge of the First North street crowd, and the game will be played on Thursday, June 11. Both sides are preparing to make it hot for the others, aud street feeling is already beginning to make itself apparent. It is expected that Policeman Don Benson, J. M. Jones, Fred Gates arid Johnnie John-nie Gallacher will hold down the slab by turns for the northers, and Tom Barton, Cnarlie Pearson Pear-son and George Hendricks will do likewise for the Center gang. Amo.:g the cast for postofllce avenue will be Tom Lewis, Alt'. Palmer, Joe Campbell, Will Barraclough, Leo Nielsen. Jos. Squires, Howard Thomas and All Pilgrim. Will Hansen will act as time keeper while A. G. Barber and A. M. Fleming will give an example of the pure m baseball. G. H. Champ and George Lindquist will act as chief rooters, and A. H. Thompson Thomp-son has consented to count the rounds. Miss Jennie Rainey will be asked to act as director of the hospital corps, and it is said all the boys want to get hit by the ball so they will be carted away to within the jurisdiction of her charming smile. Robert Murdock will relate how they played ball iri Scotiarid, between the acts, and M. J. Ballard has consented to render a solo if the northers win. Bishops Cardon and Anderson consent to play if Uhe ranks are cut up so badly that they are needed and Joseph E. Sheperd will give an, exhibi- tion of town ball, before the big game. Misses Rose Sorenson and Clara Jones promise to decoratetheir party with First North Street badges if they win, j and Bob Fries intends to take 733 cinematographs of the fray, including one of Johnnie Gala-cher's Gala-cher's home run.
