Show A Quiet Wedding. The marriage of Miss uJary Louisa Nnpier and Fred Smith Madison was celebrated at the M. E. Church Thursday. Sept 27. ' It was a quiet yet a very pratty wedding. The nuptial vows were solemnized as the hands of the Chapel clock reached the hour of twelve, in the presence of a few intimate friends, Bev. C. F. Smith officiating. Miss Napier, late of New Jersey, Jer-sey, id a lady of charming accomplishments, accom-plishments, and hailing from one of the Middle Atlantic stab-6, cf course is thoroughly skilled ia the art of house keeping. Mr. Madison, the head cleik in the office of the Hercules Electiic Power Company, has resided in our city since the early summer, and by his obliging manners and his high Christian character is prjving himself a man of sterling business qualities, and one with whom and to whom the lady of his choice may well entrust her happiness. happi-ness. May their sojourn among us be full of sanshine and flowers. May their life's scenes ever be laid in pleasant places with enjoyable surroundings, and their cup of happiness full to overflowing. |
