Biographical Sketch. Qeorgo Hammer tho subject of this sketch was tho son of Hans Hammer and Anna Reeso, ho was born at Pay-son, Pay-son, Utah County, Utah, on tho 29th, day of Juno A. D., 18G8. Ho was baptlzod by Elder Israel Evans in 1SC7 and conilrmed a member of tho Church of Jesus Christ ot Latter-day Saints tho Bamo day by Eldor William Southwlck. Goorgo Hammer followed mining for a number of years, uftor which he was ongaged In tho Livery business during which tlmo he was employed by tho U. S.
