Mr. Edwards, who was 51 years of iKi was born in Lehl, March 21, 1870. He was ono of tho founders of tho beet sugar Industry in the state, hav-ng hav-ng worked nt the Lehl factory as a boy and through his enorgy nnd persistence per-sistence rising Into promlnenco In tho oporntlvo end of sugar making. Ho was appointed superintendent of tho Utah Idaho Sugar company's factory at Garland and held tho position until transferred to Spanish Fork In May, 1918, since which tlmo ho had opor-ated opor-ated tho Spanish Fork mill. Ho was a man of genial disposition and mado many friends. Mr. Edwards Is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annlo Wallaco Edwards, and tho following children: Hazel Edwards, Mrs. Vera E. Swlnynrd, Wallace Edwards nnd Lavon Ed-wnrdB, Ed-wnrdB, and by soveral brothers and slBtcrs. Tho funoral will bo hold In tho High School Auditorium today (Thursday) commencing nt 2 p. m. Tho romnlns of Mr. Edwards will arrlvo hero today at 12:41 and can be vlowcd at tho Martha Winn residence resid-ence from 1 p. m. to 1:30 p. m. |
