Stewart passed away at tho family homo In Spanish Fork, Sat-urday Sat-urday evening, following an illnoss of ton months. Doath was caused from broncho pneumonia contributory to rheumatism. Tho real troublo started whon ho sufforod lend poisoning at Park City over two years prior to his death. The body was brought to Lohl Sunday Sun-day by Undertaker N. O. Malun nnd propnred for burial, Funeral services woro conducted In tho Lehl First Ward mooting houso, Commencing at 2 p. m. Tuesday, and wore In charge of DIshop It. J, Whlpplo. Tho spcakors woro Mayor James II. Gardner, President A. J. Evans and Ulshop B." Wnddoups of Park City. A brief llfo sketch was read by DIshop Whlpplo. Ho was roared roar-ed and cducatod hero. Ho took up raining as his occupation and has worked In most of tho Utah camps. About eight years ngo ho went to Park City whero ho spent six years. There ho was ono of tho men who drove the Snako Creek drain tunnel which unwatered tho Park City district. dis-trict. While there ho suffered lead poisoning and in 1918 moved to Spanish Span-ish Fork whoro ho has lived tho paBt two years. Ho, beenmo seriously ill tho latter part of 1919 slnco which time ho has gradually bocoino worso and for somo tlmo ho has beon con- fled to his bed, Ho Is survived by his wlo, two married daughters, Mrs. Lctha Milior of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Orphn Durbock of Park City, two sons, Arthur nnd Itussol, and uumorous othor relatives and friends. Ho resided in Utah all his llfo and engaged in mining. On July 20, 1895, ho wns married to Geneva J. Kvnns. Whllo working In Park City ho contracted con-tracted load poisoning, that caused othor complications which resulted in his death. Ho passed away September Septem-ber 11, 1920, at Spanish Fork. His wife and four children, two sons nnd two daughters, survive him, besldos his parents, ono brother nnd five sisters. |
