It will bo in section 12, nbout midway between thc present stool-bridge on the road leading to Cedar Valley and tho Interurban railroad rail-road bridge. The street leading west from, tho state road, Immediately north of Judgo Deck's home, will bo extended to meet with the street ruiw nlngjionst from NophI Slater's homo nbdut'forty rods north of Thomas Col. lego's; and this street will bo extended extend-ed to. tho river. Tho bridgo will bo nt the end of this new street, tho opposite op-posite end being on land now owned byJnmcs Allrcd. Tho' county commissioners aro now advertising for bids for constructing thc "bridge. Thc bids will bo opend on September 10th, and work on It will 'commence soon after. Tho, specifications call for an all steolbrldge with a span 120 feet between be-tween the piers. Thnro will be six I panels in tho 120 foot span, each of them 20 feet sijuare, which menus that tho bridge will be 20 'feet high nnd 20 feet wide, 1C feet In tho clear. It is well trussed and will liavo a dead weight of 750 younds per linear foot, capable of carrying n live weight of doublo this amount. A guard rail of stool laclngtwo and one-half feet wido Is provided for on either side. Tho floor of tho bridgo will bo of 3 x 10 Inch Oregon Fir, with 4 x C Inch wheel guards. Tho opening of tho now street nnd construction of tho bridge will be a big convenience to the now farming district which has dovelopcd over Jordan Jor-dan of recent yenrs.
