Show H A Pleasant Social. ffi fl , On Tliursday evening n pleasant social H was given at the hall in honor of Mrs. H Eobecca Standring, president of tho H Belief Society. Tho affair was a surprise H to her and was accomplished in a most H successful maunor. Soon after she H entered tho hall at 5 :!10 an elegant sup- H per was sorved and an interesting pro- H gram rendered. Tho oxerciscs were: H Singing. Prayer by Win. Clark. Speech H hy tho chairman Mrs. M. M. Gaddle, H who presented Mrs. Standring with a H large photo of herself. Mrs, Standring H responded in a feeling manner. In her H remarks hIio stated that she had been a jH member of the church for 41 years, a H secretary for the llelief Society for 11 H years and its president for 20 years, H Speeches were made by A. J. Evans, B A. It Anderson, Wm. Clark, Wu. H Southwick, Louis Gnrff, Mrs. Jacobs, H Mrs, A. It. Anderson, Mrs. T. R. Jones, H Mrs. Sarah T. Kvans, Mrs. Samuel Taylor.
