Show Utah Troops for Manila. Washington, D.O.,May8, 1808. Lato tonight it was announced that Utah's two batteries would be sent to the Philippines and would bo put under Orders at once. ' Utah's volunteers will go to tho Philippines to garrison the archipelago that Dewey hau nubdued. Not only are the two light biiitciieil of artillery included in-cluded in the number to be sent across the Pacitic, but the troop of cavalrymen cavalry-men as well. Gov. Wells was so informed by J I. O. Corbin, Adjutant-General of the United States army, yesterday afternoon, in the following telegram : Reforring to telegram of May 7th staking stak-ing that tho two light batteries of -your State would be ordered to Camp George II. Tnomus, Cliickauiauga p"nirk; you are informed that tho two light batteries and the troops of cavalry from your State will be ordered to San Francisco. Please note change. Horses for the troops and the (wo light batteries will bo furnished in San Fraricisco, but all other equipments will have to go with them. . Tiiouch tho official telcsrrani to Gov.
