All who have known him can say that he has not lived in vain. After tho services the largts cortege formed, with the band wagon leading, and drove to the cemetary, the band playing a funeral dirge. At the centaury the band formed a circle round tbo rravo aiMl aftor the remains had been plated in tho vault and it had boon dedicated they played a dirge alid all that remains of Wm Goates was left to test in peace in tho silent tomb . The procession again formed and diove back to tho residence and dispersed . |
