They gttvu all the old folks in town a free ticket to the uuitiuec and thocoinni'ttee was on 1 and to transfer them to aud from the hall. They enjoyed the peiformunce very much. In the evening even-ing the hoes was packed with an audience that appreciated the play und the players. The new Fciiery, though not complete, U3 a very attractive feature aud is a great nupiuvcnici.t. Mr, Elvers is still working on other scenes which will be usimI in the next play. Tho playing was up to the standard of the club in all except the last act when u little prompting had to he done. The new members did very well'for the lirst appearance and slow talent. All ate haid at work on the next play tp be given in about two weeks. |
