| Show isaac C brown Honor honored on birthday isaac 0 brown celebia celebrated ted his birthday sunday sept 19 at a family reunion re xe union at the home of his daughter mrs carlos judd ike ns as everyone calls him Is still abne one of our young youn old men though eighty years of age he Is active and able to do his bit at whatever Is at hand therease there Ther eare are eight children four sons and four daughters ten thirteen g granddaughters r a n d and seven great grandchildren most of whom attended the party however one daughter mrs ellen kernell of hinckley and two grandsons who ho are in the armed services overseas were absent mr brown was born at draper diaper sept 21 1803 he came to ka nab to live when seventeen years of age ile he has been an active civic and church worker ill all illi his life behas held many offices in the L 1 D S church and in the cit city of X kanab acab at many of the good old fourth of july celebrations ike was the wheel horse in the committee that made them a success for fifteen years ike almost alone fathered the boy scout movement and was the scoutmaster he spent many days on hikes with boys when others thought it was not worth while this summer though he was nearing his year of work he took out a social security number and worked forthe tor the movies he raised 11 ta the gardened garden in hundreds of tin ahns cans that was used at ft welman ilithe in the picture of buffalo bufi bill he always I 1 iad had a nice garden at home and as a hobby he had one of the finest cactus garden which caw be b grown |
