Show Miss Gentry Becomes Bride in St. George Ceremony Wedding bells rang Saturday, April 28 for Miss ReNee Gentry of Cedar City as she chose as a partner in marriage Roland Palmer, Pal-mer, also of Cedar City. Vows were exchanged in a double-ring ceremony in the hallowed walls of the beautiful St. George LDS temple. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Palmer, par-entsf par-entsf the bridegroom, enterttln-ed enterttln-ed the wedding party at a dinner at their home following the cere-mony. cere-mony. In attendance were parents par-ents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gentry, close friends and relatives. Saturday evening the cour.'e returned to Cedar City where they were honored by friends and rr.'atlves at a reception at the Cedar Stake House. The bride was radiant in a full length gown of lace over white satin, with lacy lily pointed sleeves and lace collar. A flounm of gathered nylon tulle enhanced the scaj loped edge of the bouffant bouf-fant skirt. Her veil was fingertip length cascading from a crown of pearls and she carried a bouquet of pink carnations. Chosen as" bridesmaids for the nuptial occasion were Mrs. Kay Smith, Laura Lee Crosby, and Zoe Leone Palmer with petite Claudia Palmer as flower girl. They wore ballerina length growns of ice blue and ice pink and carried bouquets of esther reeds and hyacinths. Roger Haycock, Dick Lyman, Don Ashcroft and Nell Gentry acted as ushers. I Both are graduates of the Ce-' Cax City High School where they jwere oustanding students and t active in extra-curricular affairs. |
