Show Wayne Benson Takes Bride in Double Ring Wedding Wayne Decker Benson former Parowan resident and Miss Mar-cenc Mar-cenc Edwards of Lark, Utah were married May 2 in a double-ring ceremony in the LDS Ward Chapel Cha-pel at Lark. Bishop Burton S. Tin-gey Tin-gey officiated in the ceremony. Following the ceremony a reception re-ception was iven for the youn.c; couple by the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Morris G. Edwards. Those attending from Parowan were the parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Benson, and his brother Clair, who stood as best man, and his family. Saturday night, May y, Jio couple were entertained at an open house by the parents of the bridegroom. This was held in the Relief Society rooms of the Parowan Par-owan Third Ward chapel, with the newly wedded couple and the parents of both bride and bridegroom greeting friends and relatives of the area. Assisting in tne event here Mrs. Mala Rollins, Mrs. Carol Carter and Mrs. Marie Orton In charge of refreshments with the J Misses Sharon Rowley, Sherrie and Jeanri Ui.'ton serving. The gift table were in charge of Mrs. Pat Bensi. n. Mrs. Barbara Benson, Ben-son, Mrs. Norma Robinson and Mrs. Mary Dawn Dalton. Ushers were Ralph Mortensen and Del Ray Benson and at the guest register were Mrs. Ralph Mortensen Morten-sen and Mrs. DelKay Benson. Mr. and Mrs. Benson will make their home in Salt Lake City where Mrs. Benson will continue to be employed at an insurance agency. Wayne is employed by Hercules and will be working out at Clearfield in the future. |
