Show Albert Biedermans Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary The Albert Biederman family joined together in Cedar City during the Thanksgiving holiday to pay tribute and help celebrate the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Albert and Elizabeth Biederman. Confined to the family the celebration ce-lebration took the form of a family fa-mily project as the sons and daughters and their families pitched in to paint the house which has been the residence of the Biederman family for nearly 50 years. The Bledermans were married in Philadelphia, Pa. on November 27, 1912 and it was Just a short time later that they moved to Cedar City to make their home. They arrived in Cedar City in 1918 at which time Albert Joined his brother, Fred, in opening and operating the Biederman Bros. Market lter to become the first IGA store In Cedar City. Also over a period of 18 years j the Bledermans owned and operated oper-ated a fishing boat concession at Navajo Lake, and until his letircinent Mr. Biederman was then employed at Utah Construction Construc-tion and Mining Co. The Bledermans have three daughters and one son, all of whom where here with their families fa-milies on the occasion of the Golden Wedding anniversary. They Include Mrs. Orvllle J. (Grayce) Wood, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Wallace R. (Vlrglnl) Hill, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kenneth W. (Jimmy) Heyborne, and Albert, Jr, Overton, Nev. |
