Show Saturday Temple Rites Recited by Miss Lee Ann Dorrity Holiday rites united popular couple Lee Ann Dorrity and S. Neil Gentry, Saturday December 22. at the St. George L. D. S. Temple. Officiating at the ceremony cere-mony was President Harold Snow. Former Cedar City residents, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Dorrity, are parents of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gentry are the bridegroom's bride-groom's parents. j Dinner for the wedding party was served Saturday afternoon at the Sam Gentry home. Red and White with a touch of Christmas was the theme carried out in decorations and costumes of the attendants at a reception honoring the newlyweds. The affair was held in the evening of December 22 at the Cedar L.D.S. Stake House. Dressed in a floor length, white chifion lace gown, the lovely bride greeted her guests. She chose an elbow length veil of French illusion which was attached at-tached to a crown studded with tear drop pearls and harmoniz- lng with the effective bridal train. A white orchid, styled . with red roses and chrysanthe-I chrysanthe-I mums added the finishing touch -, es of the bridal ensemble. , Accomplishing a beautiful pat-, pat-, tern in color were the drccses , worn by the bride's attendants. . Each was adorned In street r length outfits of red velvet with , white fur trim. Honoring Lee Ann was her sister, Sharon Web-. Web-. ster who served as matron of ( honor for the affair. The brides-, maids were Bonnie Yergensen, Judy Peck, Marjorie Ogden, Dar-j Dar-j lene Harris, Judy Warner, Joanne Lunt, Ann Frehner and RaNee Palmer. Sheldon Bowler was best man while Phil Yergensen, Ralph 1 Stokes, Duncan MacDonald, ; Keith Folger and Roland Palmer i assisted the .bridegroom as ush-1 i ers. I At the guests book during the i I reception hours was Harriet Bow- I I ! ler. Serving were Marian Gardner I along with Shanna and Camille j I Penny. Kitchen hostesses were ! Alice Milne, Berth Jones, Manda Pare, Ila Sherratt. and LaRee Crosby. Assisting in the gift room vvre Durella Chamberlain, Jona Orton. Beverly Warner and Mrs. John Penny. Out of town guests at the nuptial affair were Cawdell Or- ton, Mrs. iona Orton and Mrs. Betty Lowe of Pa rowan, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Gillins, Minersville; Mr. and Mrs. John Penny and girls of Richfield; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Warner, Delta and Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Warner of Fillmore. The wedded couple planned a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Nev I They will be further honored at an Open House to be held December De-cember 29 at the home of the bride's parents, 2138 Emerson, Salt Lake City. The new Mr. and Mrs. Gentry will make their home in Salt Lake City where Neil plans to attend school. Lee Ann is employed em-ployed at the Mountain Fuel Supply company in Salt Lake. |
