Show Miss Sharon Rice And I.C. Fife Speak Marriage Vows A twilight ceremony held In the Second Ward LDS Chapel united Miss Sharon Rice and Mr. J. C. Fife in marriage. The couple cou-ple repeated vows spoken by Judge Haldo E. Christensen May 23rd. Announcing the marriage was Mrs. Elizabeth O'Brien, guardian of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fife, parents of the bridegroom. bride-groom. For the wedding, Sharon chose a street length dress of white lace with a high neckline and long tapered cleeves. She wore a butterfly veil attached to a crown of imitation jewels. A white orchid and button mums were styled into a cascading bridal bri-dal bouquet. Bride's attendants were Miss Patricia O'Brien, Miss Elaine Fife, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Carol Fisher. Miss Fisher served as maid of honor. Each of the attendants wore costumes in harmony with a color theme of lilac and blue. They held nosegays arranged from pink and white flowers. Petite Terry Fife served as flower girl. Brother of the bridegroom, Gail Fife, stood as best man. Douglas McKnight and Bernie Reber were ushers. Floral decorations of lilacs set the bacground for a reception which was held in honor of the newlyweds the evening of their wedding. Guests called from eight until ten. The couple are currently making mak-ing their home in Cedar City but anticipate moving to Idaho in the near future. |
