RALPH CALVIN ERICKSON Myrna Green and Ralph Calvin Erickson Exchange Vows in St. George LDS Temple In a marriage ceremony which took place on Saturday, May 23 in the St. George LDS Temple, Miss Myrna Green became the bride of Mr. Ralph Calvin Erickson Erick-son of Salt Lake City. Rudger Atkin, temple president, officiated officiat-ed in the single ring wedding rites which united the young couple. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Green of this City. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Erickson of 1373 Thornton Ave. Salt Lake City. Ci-ty. The young couple were the honored guests at a reception held that same evening in the recreation hall of the first ward chapel. For the occasion the bride wore her wedding gown of floor length white satin. Attendants to the bride were her sister, Mrs. Steven Lovell, as matron of honor and other attendants at-tendants were Miss Renee Anderson, An-derson, Miss Norma Orton, Miss Laney Larkin, Miss Deanna Eli-ason, Eli-ason, Miss Darlene John, Miss Betty May Wright, Miss Linda Erickson, Mrs. Eric Shumway and Miss Catherine Reed. Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Ken L. Erickson, and serving as ushers were Jim Green and Steve Lovell, Lov-ell, brother and brother-in-law of the bride. Miss Kathy Thomas was at the guest register. Cousins of the bride were in charge of the gifts and aunts of the bride were in charge of refreshments. Young ladies assisting with the serving were the Misses Marie Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, Judy Munford, Mary Robinson, Robin-son, LaVona Jones, Sherea Guf-fey Guf-fey and Susan Tullis. The bride is a graduate of Parowan Par-owan High School, has attended Brlgham Young University and has recently completed a mission for the LDS Church in the Southern South-ern States. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Utah and has fulfilled an LDS mission in Southern California. Following their honeymoon trip the newlyweds will return to Salt Lake City to make their home. |
