Show Yvonne Bauer, Nolan Ashman Choose April Wedding Date Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Bauer of Cedar City announced this week the marriage of their daughter, Yvonne, to Nolan Earl Ashman, on Friday. April 13 in the hal-Jowed hal-Jowed halls of the St. George Temple. President Harold S. Snow performed the double-ring ceremony. The bridegroom is a son of Mr and Mrs. Albert T. Ashman, of Cedar City. Saturday evening the parents of the bride honored the popular couple at a recep'ion In the Relief Re-lief Society room of the Fifth ward chapel. The lovely brida greeted he' friends and relatives in a beau- iful gown of imported chantilK lace with nyjon tulle. Pointed sleeves were full length in the beautiful lace. Her veil of white tule and fingertip length, cascaded cas-caded from a pe'ite crown and was attached with seed pearls. She chose as her matron of honor a sister, Mrs. Delton Bet-tridge Bet-tridge of Salt Lake City. Other attendants were Mrs. Tommy Gl-van, Gl-van, a sister cf the? bride; Mrs. Allen Bauer, her tlster-In-law; Mrs. DonaJd Milne and Mrs. Pres. ton G. Thompson, sister of the bridegroom. The attendants chose gowns oi orchid and yellow and stood alternately In the receiving line. Standing as best man on the nuptial occasion was Donald Milne. Music throughout the evening was furnished by Sandra Lang-ford Lang-ford and Marilyn Halversen. Hostess was Mrs. Morgan Slack and at the guest book was Dorlene Lamb. Aunts of the bride assisted in the kitchen and included Mrs. Vernon Slack. Mrs. Calvin Slack.! and Mrs. Edgar Slack. Serving were the Misses Ros-lyn Ros-lyn Leigh, Rosalee Corry, Sharon Grant and Patricia Slock. Ushers wore Allen Bauer, Delton Bet- tridge, Preston Thompson, Tom-1 my Givan, Blaine Lund. Gail Bradshaw and Austin Munson. |
