Show Miss Valorie Evans Rscomes Bn'de In Temple Nuptials In marriage rites solemnized In the St. George L D S temple last Saturday morning, Jan. -V Miss Varlorie Evans became the bride of El Roy S. Bryant, with President Harold S. Snow officiating offici-ating at the nuptial rites. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clefford Evans and the bridegroom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bryant, all of Parowan. Paro-wan. That same evening the newly, weds were honored at a reception recep-tion in the First-Second Ward recreation hall, which included a program and dancing. For the reception the bride wore a waltz length gown of lace and tulle underscored with satin. The fitted bodice was styled styl-ed with a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves tapering to points over the wrists. The skirt was of alternate tiers of lare and tulle. A cap of pleated tulle pearl-encrusted caught the fin-gortip fin-gortip veil of illusion. She car- ried a bouquet of red carnations carna-tions and lily of the valley. Mrs. Randall Adams, the sis-I sis-I tor of the bride, as matron of honor, wore a blue sheath and the other attendants wore pastel sheaths. They were Miss Jackie Ward, Miss Sylvia Decker. Mrs. Paul Johnson. Miss Rose Ann Barton, Miss Luella Phillips and Miss Myrna Green. In nylon frocks, and carrying beskets of peppermint striped carnations were flower girls Lorraine Evans and Debra Low. Sheldon Smith and Douglas ' Mickelson stood as best men for ' the bridegroom and ushers were I brothers of the bride, Hal, Dee, Dan, Farris and Lowell Evans, and Tom Evans, a nephew. At the bride's book was Miss Mama Heap, and in charge of gifts were Mrs. Dan Evans and M:s. Dee Evans. In the kitchen j weer Mrs. Lowell Evans and j Mrs. Farris Evans. Serving were I the Misses Linda Sampson. Jero-I Jero-I Ivn Gurr, Barbara Ann Graff. I Karen Boardman. Helen Hulet, IVana Evans. Joy Fvans. Sandra Evans, Marilyn Bryant, Omilec Smith and Joan Smith. Following the reception the newlyweds went on a brief hon-,ey hon-,ey moon and are now here for the time being. |
