Show I Popular Students Exchange Marriage Vows Two popular students of the Parowan High School. Rnvd Whitney and Miss Helen Stevens, were married at Ploche, Nev. on Wednesday, April wiu .o . op Edwin D. Riding performing the ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. I and Mrs. Frank Stevens and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whitney. Both are members of the sen-' lor class at the Parowan High School and are members of this year's graduating class from the school. The bride has been active ac-tive In music during her school years, as a member of the high school girls' chorus and trio, and has served as senior class officer. Boyd has been very active In athletics, being a member of the high school football team for the past three years, and the basket ball team for two years. He has also been active In the Parowan chapter of Future Farmers of America and is serving as president presi-dent of that oiganlzation this year. The bride Is being honored at a shower tonight, Thursday, given giv-en by Miss Vanda Mitchell, at her home, and a reception Is being be-ing planned for the newly married mar-ried couple In the near future. |
