Cartwright were honored at j a wedding reception in the Pa-rowan Pa-rowan Third Ward recreation hall on April 3rd. For the occasion the bride was attirdd'ln a beautiful wedding gown of heavy taffeta and sheer embroidery. The fitted bodice i featured long sleeves and thej flaring skirt hnd an overskirt of embroidery ana 'ell to a train in the back. A jewtd crown held her veil of illusion ad her bouquet bou-quet was a white oichid surrounded sur-rounded by tangerine tropicana roses, H She was attended -by bridesmaids brides-maids JUss Lana Jcah Topham, Mrs. mily Lister and Miss Mina j Lamoreaux. They wore tangerine embroidered ""l.iffoa over polished polish-ed cotton and carried pale lilies. The bridegroom's sister, Shelley, was Jr. Bridesmaid and was , dressed in matching embroidered chiffon and taffeta accented with a lily bouquet. Bob Cartwright stood as best man for his brother and Gary Cartwright was usher. Assisting the young people at receiving were their parents, Mr. and Mrs. 1) nald Cartwright and Mrs. Charles LeVequc and grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards. Ed-wards. Mike's grandparents, Mr. , and Mrs. Gale Wamsley of Ogden I were present also. The mothers and grandmothers wore orchid corsages. Miss Janet Gurr was at the guest book. In charge of the gifts were Mrs. Doris Benson, Mrs. Wanda Benson and Mrs. iGretta Wood. Clinton Topham and Randy Lamoreaux assisted with the gifts. Serving was done I by classmates of the young couple. cou-ple. D. Amasa Stones was master of ceremonies for an interesting program which included the following fol-lowing numbers. A vocal solo bj Mrs. June Topham, accompanied by Mrs. Melva Barton; song by Norman Robinson, Gregory Miller Mil-ler and Clinton Bentley, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Ramona Stubbs, organ selections by Mrs. Lillis Spencer; reading, Karl Mitchell: girls' trio, Vicki Worthen, Gay Rowley and Larae Lamoreaux, accompanied by Mrs. Wilma Lamoreaux; La-moreaux; men's quartet, Bob Rowley. J. Harold Mitchell, Karl Mitchell and Robert Wilcock; hormoniea selections by Eddie Edwards and Willie Davenport and selections by the Jim Worthen Wor-then family. The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. |
