Thomas Lawrence Law-rence will be honored on Sunday, April 2(, with an open house to celebrate their (With wedding at" niversary. Friends may call at the Lawrence home between the! hours of 3 and t p. m. The Lawrences have been residents, resi-dents, of Cedar City for ."l years. Mr. Lawrence was born in Hci -ferdshire, Kngland, and came to the United States at the age of 11. Mrs. I Rosa Lawrence was born in Altamount, So. Dakota, and moved to Sequachee, Tenn. at the age of six. They met while Mr. Lawrence was serving a mission mis-sion in the Southern States for the LDS Church. Upon completion of his mission they were married in the Salt Lake Temple by President Pres-ident Joseh Fielding Smith. The Iwrences were the par ents of 12 children, nine of whom are still living, Earl, Thomas J., Mrs. Arvil ( Pearl Stapley, Mrs. Harry (Barbara) Bauer, and Mr?. Edward (Bess) Fitzinger, all of Cedar City; David and Mrs. Lar-kin Lar-kin (Ruth) Gifford of Las Vegas, Nev.; Ernest of Piovo, Utah, and Fred of Lander, Wyo. They have 30 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Most of the children plan to honor their parents by attending a family dinner followed by the open house.
