LARRY ROBB Miss Dorothy Smith Recites Vows With Mr. Larry Robb ' The Cedar City First Ward chapel was the setting for a sin I gle-ring ceremony which united Miss Dorothy Smith and Larry Robb in marriage. Bishop Sher-att Sher-att performed the ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph N. Smith and ' Mr. and Mrs. Harold Robb of! Cedar City. A reception followed the wedding wed-ding Saturday, May 2nd. Greeting Greet-ing guests with the newlyweds were the bride's attendants. Matron Ma-tron of Honor was Mrs. Sterling (Susan) Orton and the bridesmaids brides-maids were Miss Jackie Heap Miss Shiela Robb, Miss Claudette Smith and Miss Carol Miles. Best man for the occasion was Gordon Bulloch. Ushers were Jay Smith, Phyllip Boyns, Bobby Bulloch, Bul-loch, Bobby Delaney and Leigh Rosenberg. The bride wore an original white gown with a bodice of sheer chantilly lace covered with sequins. The neckline was scalloped scal-loped and the long sleeves were tr -red to a point. The skirt of f; iy organza drifted into a back fullness which created a train eliect. The skirt rront was complimented com-plimented by chantilly lace motifs mo-tifs near the waistline and a bow ' highlighted the back waistline. I The bride wore a butterfly design de-sign veil attached to a tiara of mock Jewels. Her bouquet was styled from an orchid with gla-mila gla-mila and pink satin streamers. Mother of the bride wore a pink sheath dress with a matching match-ing pink corsage. The bridegroom's bride-groom's mother wore an orchid sheath and a pink corsage. Hostesses during the reception were Mrs. Douglas Nelson and Mrs. W. T. Smith. At the guest book were Mrs. Kent N. Smith and Mrs. Joe Melling. Background accordian music was rendered by the bride's cousin, cou-sin, David Shurtliff. Gift room attendants were Mrs. Wendell Roundy, Mrs. J. Fred Smith, Miss LaRue Perkins and Miss Toni Bringhurst. Serving were Miss Claudine Prince, Mrs. Sam Jones, Miss Beverly Shamo, Miss Sylvia Gayle and Miss Lois Linford. Kitchen hostesses were Mrs. Henry Hen-ry Bulloch, Mrs. Earl Mackel-prang, Mackel-prang, Mrs. J. A. Beteridge, Mrs. Jack Pace, Mrs. Lewis Webster and Mrs. Henry Smith. Both the bride and the bridegroom bride-groom ai. graduates from the Cedar City High School. The bride attended the College of Southern Utah and is also a graduate from Comptometer and L B. M. A bridal shower was given by Mrs. Joe Melling, Mrs. Sterling Orton, Miss Carol Miles, Miss Jackie Heaps, Miss Claudette Clau-dette Smith and Mrs. Kent N. Smith. Guests at the Joseph N. Smith residence, who arrived for the wedding, were grandparents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Webster of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Shurtliff of Orem, and Mrs. R. E. Brailsford of Ba-kersfield, Ba-kersfield, Calif. |
