Show Marriage Ceremonies Unite Joyce Halterman, Jay Stolk At a quiet wedding which took place last Friday afternoon, April 23, Miss Joyce Marie Halterman of this city and Walter Jay Stolk of Paragonah were united in marriage. Stake President W. Clair Rowley officiated at the ceremony which took place at 4 p. m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel A. Halterman, grandparents of the bride, with only immediate members of the family present. Following their marriage the young people left for a short honeymoon in Las Vegas, and returned re-turned to their home here on Monday. A reception in their i honor is planned for next week. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arvell Halterman of this city and the groom is a son of Mrs. Arlo Topham of Tara-gonah Tara-gonah and the late Walter C. Stolk of Panguitch. The new Mrs. Stolk is a senior at the Parowan High School and will graduate with her class next month. Mr. Stolk is a graduate of the Panguitch Pan-guitch High School and is an ex-member ex-member of the armed forces, serving ser-ving for several months in Japan. He has been employed at the Iron mines for the past year or two. They will make their home here we understand. |
