Show i Helen Chamberlain, j Richard Southwick I Take Marriage Vows Helen Janeen Chamberlain of Ogden and Richard Glen South- wick of Cedar City exchanged j marriage vows in a ceremony at the L D S temple in Logan, on Friday, Dec. 19. They are now I visiting in Cedar City follow- I ing a honeymoon trip, and after ! the end of January will make their home in Logan. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Chamberlain of Ogden, During the current school year she has been a mem-' ber of the Cedar Junior high school faculty as physical education edu-cation instructor. She will continue, con-tinue, in that capacity through January before joining her husband hus-band at Logan. She is a graduate gradu-ate of the Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural college, where she was affiliated af-filiated with the Kappa Delta sorority. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Southwick of Cedar City. He is a student of the Utah State Agricultural college at the present time with an accounting account-ing major. He graduated from the Cedar City high school and the Branch Agricultural college, where he was active in athletics, and attended the Brigham Young university last winter. At the B A C he was affiliated with the Gamma Psi Upsilon fraternity and at the U S A C with the Alpha Al-pha Kappa Psi fraternity. Following their marriage the young couple was honored at a reception at the home of Mrs. Paul Cragum at Pleasant View. Receiving at the reception were the parents of the bride and groom, Paul Robert South-'wick, South-'wick, brother of the groom, best man; Mrs. Kaye Anderson of Ogden, Og-den, sister of the bride, matron of honor, and the Misses Lou-anna Lou-anna Taylor, Ranae Phrese and Janet Cragum, bridesmaids. '. The bride wore a gown of white satin and lace, with a finger-tip veil. Her bouquet was of white orchids and white roses. The matron of honor and bridesmaids brides-maids carried bouquets of carnations carna-tions and white roses. The bride's mother wore a gown of powder blue, while the groom's mother was gowned in pink. The bride and groom were also honored at a family dinner at Provo, on Dec 20, at the home 'of an uncle of the groom, Phil V. Christensen. They will be entertained enter-tained on Jan. 2, at the Southwick South-wick family residence in Lehi. |
