Show Wedding At Institute Unites Local Couple The Cedar LDS Institute was the scene of a wedding ceremony Tuesday Tues-day afternoon, December SO, uniting unit-ing Miss Marie Melllng. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Melllng, and Craig Neptune, son of Mrs. Pauline Neptune. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Win. Snow. Miss Joan Melling, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and the bride's maids were the Misses Vy-onne Vy-onne Lamoreaux, Maria Ams, Janet Smith and Ruth Marie Hunter. Jack Walker was best man, and Dee and Douglas Melllng acted as ushers. The young couple were honored at a reception held in the Relief Society rooms of the First ward chapel Tuesday evening, with Miss Renee Adams and Mrs. Charles R. Hunter, welcoming the guests. In the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Melling, Mrs. Pauline Neptune, Nep-tune, Mrs. Seth Smith of Beaver, grandmother of the bride, and the bridal party. Pouring were Mrs. Clarence Lamoreaux Lam-oreaux and Mrs. Paul Ams, with the Misses Ruthell and Elaine Lamoreaux, Lam-oreaux, Mrs. Frant Esplin and Mrs. Ray Melling assisting with the serving, serv-ing, Miss 'Jane Moiling and Miss Marlon Anderson were in charge of the gift room. The bride is a graduate of the Cedar City high school and a student stu-dent of the Branch Agricultural college, and the groom, a graduate of the local high school, is a veteran of World War II. |
